As one of the key city-side events of APEC Digital Week, the Expert Seminar on Building a Manufacturing Power & the New Industrialization Promotion Exchange Meeting, hosted by the National Strategic Advisory Committee on Building a Manufacturing Power, was successfully held in Chengdu on July 24, 2026. At the meeting, Chengdu shared insights around the Action Plan for High-Quality Development of New Industrialization in Chengdu. Centered on the theme of new industrialization, the event closely aligns with the systematic arrangements made at the 4th Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee for building a modern industrial system and consolidating and strengthening the foundation of the real economy. It gathered more than 500 attendees, including academicians and experts from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, members of the National Strategic Advisory Committee on Building a Manufacturing Power, top domestic think tank representatives, and heads of leading industry enterprises.
