On July 9, the 2026 Manufacturing "Pilot Scale+" Ecology Conference, themed "Pilot Scale Driving the Integration of Science and Industry, Ecology Activating New Quality Productive Forces," was successfully held in Chengdu. Relevant officials from the Department of Science and Technology of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, along with representatives from the industry and information technology departments of Sichuan, Chongqing, Guangxi, Guizhou, Yunnan and other regions, attended the event. The conference brought together more than 200 guests, including industry experts and enterprise representatives, for in-depth discussions on the "Pilot Scale+" innovation model, sharing high-quality practical cases, promoting mature development experience, and jointly exploring new paths for innovative development of the manufacturing pilot-scale ecology.

Conference Venue
As the supporting entity of a national-level manufacturing pilot-scale platform, Tongwei was invited to attend the conference and took the stage first in the "Learning from Best Practices" experience-sharing session to deliver the opening keynote speech. Xie Weiwei, Deputy Director of Tongwei Global Innovation R&D Center, presented a speech titled "From Technology Verification to Industrial Empowerment: Operational Practice and Exploration of the Advanced Photovoltaic Device Manufacturing Pilot-Scale Platform." Grounded in the actual development of the photovoltaic industry, he systematically shared the practical experience of the national-level photovoltaic pilot-scale platform from planning and construction to full-cycle operation, earning high praise and widespread recognition from on-site regulatory authorities, industry experts, and conference attendees.
Building on years of deep cultivation in the photovoltaic industry, Tongwei has established a full-chain closed-loop system encompassing "laboratory R&D — pilot-scale verification — scaled-up mass production." Focusing on key links such as trial production of new photovoltaic materials, equipment trial production and performance testing, mass production process optimization, and reliability assessment and validation, Tongwei continues to explore the commercial operation and sustainable development path of the platform, effectively addressing the industry pain point of disconnection between scientific research innovation and industrialized mass production in the photovoltaic sector. This has formed a virtuous cycle in which industrialization feeds back into scientific research and pilot-scale testing drives innovation.
