On July 3rd, a delegation led by Claudia Salomon, President of the ICC International Court of Arbitration, visited Tongwei for an in-depth discussion. Liu Hanyuan, a National People's Congress Deputy, Vice Chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, and Chairman of the Tongwei Group Board of Directors, warmly received the guests. The two sides had thorough exchanges on the global layout of the photovoltaic industry, cross-border commercial dispute resolution, and international trade compliance, exploring legal guarantee paths for the internationalized development of new energy enterprises.

The delegation toured the group's experience center to gain first-hand insights into Tongwei's "Agriculture + New Energy" industrial development model, and highly recognized the enterprise's achievements in green and low-carbon development, digital upgrading, and global business layout.

Discussion and Exchange

During the discussion, the two sides explored development opportunities and industry cooperation space in the global new energy sector. They reached a consensus that the new energy industry at home and abroad boasts broad cooperation prospects. Enterprises can deploy legal teams in advance to participate in business negotiations, improve pre-risk prevention and control based on mature international commercial rules, reduce operational disputes through standardized contract agreements, and consolidate the foundation for global development with compliant operations. The two sides also had full discussions on practical issues including the current status of enterprises' overseas operations, cross-border dispute handling practices, cross-border contract drafting, arbitration clause setting, and the enforcement of arbitral awards outside the territory.

This exchange deepened mutual trust between Tongwei and the ICC International Court of Arbitration, laying a more solid foundation for long-term collaboration in the future. Going forward, while enhancing its own competitiveness, Tongwei will leverage internationally recognized rules and mechanisms to safeguard its legitimate rights and interests, ensuring the steady and high-quality development of its overseas business.
