On June 4, the second day of SNEC 2026, the excitement continued at the Tongwei booth. During the event, Tongwei's product reliability once again earned high recognition from an authoritative industry body.
At the Tongwei booth, Wang Lei, Empirical Technology Director of Beijing Certification Center (CGC), delivered a keynote speech titled "From Lab to Field: Tongwei TNC Module Performance and Reliability Under All-Climate Conditions." From an independent third-party perspective, he systematically interpreted the all-climate reliability of Tongwei TNC modules from laboratory testing to outdoor empirical validation. Through detailed data, he demonstrated how Tongwei's reliability design exceeding industry standards safeguards the full lifecycle value of PV power plants.

In his speech, Wang Lei struck at the core of power plant investment: long-term reliability is the key determinant of asset returns. He pointed out that Tongwei's module reliability is rooted in full-industry-chain quality assurance and reliability design that exceeds standards. The integrated solution built by Tongwei—featuring high power, high bifaciality, low operating temperature, and excellent low-light performance—aims to comprehensively guarantee stable revenue for power plants over 25+ years. To verify this commitment, Tongwei has established a rigorous system of "lab extreme testing + global outdoor empirical validation." In the lab, TNC modules not only meet international standards but also undergo stricter localized enhanced testing that simulates over 25 years of aging, earning the world's first "Power Curve" assessment certificate.
Even more compelling are the outdoor empirical data covering typical climate zones across China: In Haikou, Hainan, TNC modules achieved stable annual power generation gains thanks to ultra-high bifaciality, with an average annual gain of 1.26%; in Jiaxing, Zhejiang, thanks to a superior temperature coefficient (-0.26%/°C), TNC 3.0 modules showed significant and continuously growing power generation advantages during high-temperature seasons; in the overcast and rainy environment of Sanya, Hainan, their excellent low-light performance delivered 2%–3% power generation gains during over 60% of low-irradiance periods—a value of great significance for rainy regions and high-electricity-price time slots.
On the same day, Beijing Certification Center (CGC) presented Tongwei with two prestigious awards: the "Harsh Climate Reliability Excellence Award" and the "CGC Full-Scope Empirical Power Generation Benchmark Award." Zhou Gang, General Manager of the Solar Division of CGC, attended the ceremony and presented the certificates. Xing Guoqiang, CTO of Tongwei Solar, and Long Wei, Director of the Cell Development Department at Tongwei Solar Technology Center, received the certificates on site. These two awards were granted based on long-term, systematic research data from Tongwei's modules—from laboratory testing to multi-scenario outdoor validation worldwide—representing high recognition of Tongwei's outstanding reliability, stable power generation performance, and full-chain quality control system.

The authoritative interpretation by CGC experts and the dual awards serve as a strong endorsement of Tongwei's product philosophy and outstanding quality practices. Tongwei will continue to be innovation-driven and reliability-focused, committed to delivering long-term, stable, and trustworthy green energy assets to global customers, and driving the high-quality sustainable development of the PV industry.
