On May 14, Chen Zhichang, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Committee and Secretary of the Baotou Municipal Committee, and his delegation visited Tongwei for discussion. Guests Visit the Group Experience Center

Chen Zhichang and his delegation toured the Group Experience Center, gaining a detailed understanding of Tongwei's development history and strategic layout. During the discussion with Chairman Liu Hanyuan, Chen Zhichang expressed gratitude for Tongwei's contributions to Baotou's economic and social development. He said that currently, Baotou is leveraging its resource endowments and industrial foundation, capitalizing on key opportunities such as the national new power system pilot, hydrogen energy regional pilot, and national-level zero-carbon park pilot, to vigorously develop green and low-carbon industries and accelerate the green transformation and innovative development of the old industrial base. He expressed hope that Tongwei will continue to leverage its technological and industrial strengths to mutually empower and advance together with Baotou on the green energy track. Chairman Liu Hanyuan shared his views on industry development trends, stating that the sustained and healthy development of enterprises is inseparable from a virtuous industry cycle and strong support from local Party committees and governments. Tongwei will continue to deepen its engagement in the green energy sector, further strengthen strategic synergy with Baotou, and promote higher-quality development of related industries.
