In September 2025, MIIT comprehensively upgraded the evaluation rules for "Green Factories"—emphasizing the orientation of energy conservation and carbon reduction, increasing the weight of energy conservation and carbon reduction evaluation indicators, and focusing on cultivating high energy-consuming industries with great energy conservation and carbon reduction potential. Through a series of procedures including voluntary application by enterprises, recommendation by provincial-level industry and information technology authorities, expert review, and public announcement, Yunnan Tongwei was successfully selected into the "2025 National Green Factories" list, indicating that the company's green manufacturing system construction, low-carbon technology application, and sustainable development capability have reached the national leading level.
