During the WFES exhibition in Abu Dhabi, CCTV's Middle East channel focused its report on the role and practices of Chinese PV companies, represented by Tongwei, in the clean energy transition in the Middle East, drawing widespread attention.
The CCTV Middle East News noted that as the Middle East accelerates its energy structure transformation, solar and other clean energy sources are becoming key pillars of the regional energy system. Leveraging a complete industrial chain and continuously iterating technological capabilities, Chinese PV companies are providing more certain solutions for local clean energy projects.

Chen Fangzhou, Head of Overseas Module Marketing, PV Business Department, Tongwei Co., Ltd.,
accepted an interview with CCTV Middle East reporters
In the interview, Chen Fangzhou, Head of Overseas Module Marketing, PV Business Department, Tongwei Co., Ltd., said that the Middle East is accelerating the diversification of its energy structure, and clean energy has gradually shifted from a supplementary option to an essential component of the region's long-term development strategy. The accumulated experience of Chinese PV companies in technological maturity, industrial collaboration, and large-scale delivery is providing reliable support for clean energy projects in the Middle East and Africa.
This judgment is based on Tongwei's long-term, in-depth involvement in the Middle East and Africa market. Tongwei has continuously expanded in multiple African countries, and batches of high-efficiency and reliable TNC series modules are being deployed in ground power plants, commercial and industrial rooftops, and residential energy projects.

In 2025, Tongwei's first large-scale ground PV project in Africa was successfully commissioned and put into operation, and the Company also facilitated the delivery of large ground power plant projects such as Saudi Arabia's PIF4 project. Tongwei continues to deepen its presence in the regional distributed market, responding to the market's core demand for long-term returns and system stability with high-efficiency and reliable module products.
Against the backdrop of the Middle East and Africa entering a phase of large-scale and long-term clean energy development, market attention to module efficiency and system returns has shifted from "feasibility verification" to "long-term value realization". It is in this industry context that Tongwei's TNC3.0 high-efficiency modules made their global debut at the WFES exhibition in Abu Dhabi. This not only marks Tongwei's continuous evolution in high-efficiency module technology routes but also clearly conveys the Company's future-oriented product layout direction to the world.

As the levelized cost of electricity (LCOE) in PV continues to optimize, module efficiency remains the key variable determining the boundary of system value. Centered on this core goal, the TNC3.0 achieves further breakthroughs in power and efficiency: The G12R-66 variant reaches a maximum power of 670W with a conversion efficiency of 24.8%; the G12-66 variant reaches a maximum power of 770W with a conversion efficiency of 24.8%. At the 210-size module efficiency level, it is positioned at the sector leading level, offering a more certain technical option for large-scale ground power plants and high-efficiency utilization scenarios in the Middle East and Africa.
With clean energy development and market demand in the Middle East and Africa entering a sustained growth phase, Tongwei will continue to deepen local cooperation based on high-efficiency modules and stable delivery capabilities, participate in the long-term construction of the regional energy system, and inject more robust and lasting PV momentum into the green transformation of the Middle East and Africa.
