On November 8, the 2025 (6th) Carbon Neutrality and Green Investment Conference and (4th) Zero Carbon Cities Forum, the core events of the 8th China International Import Expo, commenced in Shanghai. The conference brought together over 300 participants from policy research, industrial practice, and financial investment sectors for in-depth exchanges and idea sharing on pathways for industrial upgrading and new investment opportunities under the carbon neutrality goal. Chen Xingyu, President of the PV Business Division and Executive Director of the Energy Management Committee of Tongwei Co., Ltd., was invited to attend and deliver a keynote speech.

In his keynote speech titled "PV Driving Global Green Development: Tongwei's New Path Towards Sustainability", Mr. Chen provided an in-depth analysis of the global photovoltaic industry landscape. He emphasized that the industry's exponential growth is underpinned by the successful "Made in China, Applied Globally" model. Despite current challenges such as supply-demand fluctuations, technological iterations, and policy adjustments, this model, leveraging core advantages including technological maturity, cost competitiveness, and economies of scale, remains the optimal solution for addressing global climate change and facilitating the energy transition.
