Light, Crossing the Ocean—The Chinese Trip of the Sudanese Delegation
2025-10-31

On October 23, a delegation from the Sudanese Standards and Metrology Organization (SSMO) and ACO clients embarked on their journey from Africa, crossing the oceans to visit Tongwei. They toured the Tongwei International Center, Tongwei PV Technology Museum, Tongwei Global Innovation R&D Center, and the TW Solar Technology Yancheng Base.

At the Tongwei International Center, the two sides held in-depth discussions on the current state of Sudan's PV market, the suitability of Tongwei modules, certification pathways, and supply chain assurance. From Africa's energy transition to the development of Sudan's local standard system, face-to-face communication clarified the logic behind documents and data, and made the direction of cooperation even clearer.

At the Tongwei PV Technology Museum, located in the Shuangliu Comprehensive Bonded Zone in Chengdu, sound, light, and interactive installations immersively connected the history of humanity's pursuit of light with the panoramic view of Tongwei's new energy industry chain. The guests gained a more comprehensive understanding of Tongwei's leading achievements and experience in high-purity crystalline silicon, solar cell, and high-efficiency module manufacturing, as well as the long-term stability of Tongwei TNC 2.0 modules under different environmental conditions.

Upon entering the Tongwei Global Innovation R&D Center, the delegation learned about Tongwei's technological layout in the field of high-efficiency modules. Grounded in long-term power generation capability, the TNC 2.0 modules drive efficiency evolution through the "twin engines" of technological innovation and intelligent manufacturing, significantly enhancing per-watt power generation and ensuring every ray of sunlight delivers higher returns.

The delegation also witnessed the performance of the TNC 2.0 module under extreme tests. The intuitive test images were more persuasive than data. At the same time, the Tongwei team analyzed the manufacturing logic behind the reliability. At this moment, "reliability" is no longer an abstract term, but an answer that can be seen and touched.

For the final stop, the delegation visited the TW Solar Technology Yancheng Base. In the clean workshops, robotic arms operated with precise placement, AGVs shuttled back and forth, and production lines ran efficiently and orderly. Through the digital management system, the delegation gained insight into the entire process quality control mechanism, from incoming inspection to finished product shipment. "With such manufacturing capability, it's no wonder the TNC 2.0 maintains consistent stability," remarked a guest. The foundation of reliability is not merely numbers or indicators, but a long-term commitment ingrained in every process step and standardized execution.

The three-day itinerary turned cooperation from paper into reality. The delegation not only gained a deep understanding of Tongwei's systematic advantages in intelligent manufacturing and quality control but also witnessed the Chinese strength driving the global energy transition.

Currently, Tongwei continues to expand its presence in multiple African countries. Batch after batch of highly efficient and reliable TNC series modules are being deployed in ground-mounted power stations, commercial and industrial rooftop projects, and energy projects in remote areas. Each venture overseas is a renewed interpretation of the word "reliable." Looking ahead, Tongwei will continue to join hands with African partners to jointly advance the transformation of the regional energy structure, ensuring that solar power becomes a lasting force for development on African soil.
