Recently, the promotion and implementation conference for green electromechanical export product standards in the commerce sector was held in Chengdu. Co-organized by the Green Electromechanical Export Product Standardization Working Group and the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products, the event aimed to promote green standards for electromechanical exports. As a leading enterprise in the PV sector, Tongwei was invited to participate. During the conference, Tongwei and other contributing enterprises were awarded drafting unit certificates for Low-Carbon Assessment Requirements for Exported PV Modules (WM/T 19-2025).

Officially released on June 16, 2025, and effective from January 1, 2026, this standard serves as a crucial foreign trade guideline for regulating low-carbon assessments of exported PV modules. The formulation and implementation of this standard are of great significance for promoting the green transformation of photovoltaic product exports and enhancing the green competitiveness of China's PV industry in the global market. During the standard formulation process, Tongwei, with its years of technical accumulation, production practice, and deep understanding of international low-carbon trade rules in the PV field, deeply participated in the discussion of core clauses and the refinement of technical content, providing important support for the scientific rigor, practicality, and global applicability of the standard.

In the closed-door seminar on PV industry standards, industry experts and enterprise representatives conducted in-depth discussions on topics such as standard implementation, policy support, and international recognition. In the future, Tongwei will continue to leverage its technological and industrial advantages, strictly implement the standard requirements, promote the low-carbon management upgrade of the entire life cycle of PV products, and actively participate in the certification and mutual recognition work after the standard is implemented, helping Chinese photovoltaic products further enhance their green discourse power in overseas markets and contributing Tongwei's strength to global green and low-carbon development.
