According to InfoLink's research, the combined shipments of the world's top five cell suppliers in H1 2025 reached approximately 87.8 GW, marking a year-on-year increase of about 12.5%. After securing the No. 1 position in annual cell shipments for 2024, Tongwei maintained its global leadership in H1 2025, thanks to its world-leading total cell production capacity and continuous expansion across PV industry segments. Leveraging its strong domestic and international channel advantages, Tongwei has further consolidated its market dominance.

In the first half of 2025, the top five solar cell manufacturers shipped a combined 87.8 GW, with the most popular TOPCon technology dominating at 88.3% of total shipments, followed by PERC at 11.2%, while BC cells—still in early development—accounted for less than 1%.

In the mid-end of the new energy industry chain, Tongwei has deeply engaged in the R&D, manufacturing, and promotion of core products in solar power generation. Backed by the Tongwei Global Innovation R&D Center, the company has built a robust R&D ecosystem, driving advancements in R&D of mainstream PV technologies in the sector, including TOPCon, HJT, BC, and perovskite/c-Si tandem solar cells and modules.
