In accordance with the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce's (ACFIC) requirements to connect with key counties for national rural revitalization, the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee and Sichuan Provincial People's Government's decisions on providing foundational support to 39 underdeveloped counties, and the Sichuan Federation of Industry and Commerce's arrangements for promoting targeted assistance to these counties, a delegation from Tongwei Group, led by Huang Qigang, Secretary of the CPC Committee and Vice President of the Tongwei Group, on behalf of Liu Hanyuan, Deputy to the National People's Congress, Vice Chairman of the ACFIC, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tongwei Group, visited Daofu County in Ganzi Prefecture and Barkam City in Aba Prefecture from June 11-13. The purpose of the visit was to conduct targeted assistance and charitable donation activities, demonstrating the commitment and responsibility of private enterprises in the new era.

Years ago, Tongwei Group incorporated Yunbo Hope Primary School in Dawu County into its targeted support system, collaborating with Project Hope to establish a charity education base. The group has consistently provided special scholarships for outstanding students, invested in improving campus facilities, and created high-quality learning and sports environments for children In 2024, to further implement the ACFIC's deployment for connecting with key counties for national rural revitalization and to deeply implement Sichuan Province's arrangements for targeted assistance to 39 underdeveloped counties, Tongwei Group signed an assistance agreement with Daofu County, officially launching the "Tongwei Sunshine Education Assistance Program".

On June 12, at the acceptance ceremony for the "Tongwei Sunshine Education Assistance Program" hot water project at Daofu County No. 2 Middle School, representatives from Tongwei Group, along with Principal Yideng Pingcuo and representatives of teachers and students, witnessed the completion and unveiling of the first phase of the hot water project. Daofu County is located on the snow-covered plateau at an altitude of over 3,500 meters. During the long, cold winters, hot water has always been a basic necessity that boarding students have struggled to access. In response, under the care of Chairman Liu Hanyuan, Tongwei will invest a special fund of RMB 300,000 annually for four consecutive years, totaling RMB 1.2 million in warm support, to continuously promote the "Tongwei Sunshine Education Assistance Program". With the completion of the first-phase hot water project, 1,112 boarding students at Dawu County No. 2 Middle School can now use hot water for washing and drinking even in freezing weather.

On the same day, representatives from Tongwei Group also visited the Seka Township Central Primary School in Daofu County, where Principal Guoluo provided a detailed introduction to the school's current operations, the students' learning and living environment, and other relevant information. As part of the "Tongwei Sunshine Education Assistance Program", the Seka Township Central Primary School will receive a donation of RMB 300,000 in 2025 from Tongwei Group to build a hot water system, addressing the needs of 110 students for winter hot water and daily drinking water. Representatives from Tongwei Group also distributed new learning materials to the students on-site, encouraging them to study hard and strive for excellence. Gexi Wangmu provided a detailed introduction to the daily operational model, service philosophy, and the living conditions and actual needs of the elderly in the nursing home. Located on the plateau with unpredictable weather, Barkam’s elderly face mobility challenges. After learning about this, Tongwei Group, under Chairman Liu Hanyuan’s care, launched the "Sunset Warm Nest Plan" to donate a covered walkway, providing shelter from the wind and rain for the 65 elderly residents of the nursing home, making their living environment more comfortable and their later life more warm and beautiful.
