The introduction of Tongwei's "Global Sustainable Partnership Program" not only injects fresh momentum into the sustainable development of the global PV industry but also marks the beginning of a new chapter in Tongwei's worldwide collaboration and innovation for sustainability. As an extension and deepening of the "Together to Win - Global Sustainable Partnership Co-construction Initiative" in 2024, this program embodies Tongwei's strategic commitment to its "3T Mission and 4W Vision". In the tenth year since the United Nations proposed the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and the tenth anniversary of the signing of the Paris Agreement, Tongwei recognizes that sustainable development is not only a corporate responsibility but also a core competitive advantage for building business resilience and leading future development in this new era of resource constraints, severe climate challenges, and fluctuating market dynamics.
"Alone, we go fast; together, we go far." Guided by the "Together to Win" sustainability strategy, this program will focus on three core pillars of "Co-construction, Co-governance, and Co-sharing". It aims to establish deep cooperative relationships with stakeholders worldwide, including partners, industry peers, research institutions, government organizations, and non-governmental organizations, to jointly create a more resilient and sustainable green industrial ecosystem, contributing Tongwei's solutions to human sustainable development.
Through the "Global Sustainable Partnership Program," Tongwei will:
Co-construction:
Collaborate with supply chain partners, third-party certification bodies, and others to build long-term, mutually trusted cooperative relationships. This involves integrating sustainable development concepts into strategic decisions and operational management, pursuing business value while systematically promoting the implementation of sustainable development goals, such as addressing climate change, protecting ecosystems and biodiversity, safeguarding labor rights, practicing business ethics, and ensuring corporate compliance, thereby achieving the organic unity of economic, environmental, and social benefits.
Co-governance:
Join hands with peer companies, industry associations, financial institutions, and others to jointly participate in sustainable development governance innovation and enhance the level of sustainable development. This includes actively conducting research on industry compliance standards, promoting standardization and mutual recognition to reduce the economic and time costs of corporate compliance. Additionally, it involves jointly developing innovative green financial products, driving the efficiency and economic benefits of corporate sustainable development through standardized construction and financial support.
Co-sharing:
Establish a diversified communication mechanism for stakeholders and society, including the regular release of sustainable development reports, the hosting of industry summit forums, and the conducting of empowerment training, to build a knowledge-sharing platform. Through visualization and popular interpretation, transform industry-leading technical solutions into action guides that are understandable, participatory, and beneficial to the public, achieving the deep integration and sharing of sustainable development values.
We believe that through the "Global Sustainable Partnership Program," Tongwei will collaborate with global partners to create a sustainable future for the photovoltaic industry. We look forward to collaborating with more like-minded partners who share our climate ambitions to drive the growth of the PV industry and make greater contributions to global energy transition and sustainable development!
