On April 14, Tongwei and PVO International B.V. (PVO) formalized a 130MW high-efficiency PV module supply agreement, further solidifying the strategic deployment of TNC 2.0 series modules in the Northwest European market. The signing ceremony was attended and witnessed by Arjan Pols, CEO of PVO, and Qiu Xin, General Manager of Global Module Marketing from PV Business Department of Tongwei Co., Ltd. Erwin Damen, Chief Procurement Officer of PVO, and Chen Fangzhou, Head of Module Marketing for Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East & Africa from the PV Business Department of Tongwei Co., Ltd., represented their respective companies in the signing.

The collaboration between Tongwei and PVO has deepened since their initial partnership in 2022, evolving from module supply to a comprehensive strategic alliance encompassing distribution, commercial projects, and ground-mounted power station development.

In 2023, the two parties signed a 400MW high-efficiency PV module supply agreement, establishing a solid foundation for their business relationship. This was followed by a comprehensive strategic partnership agreement in 2024, covering various areas such as distribution, commercial PV projects, and ground-mounted photovoltaic power station development. At the end of 2024, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed, along with a tripartite project supply agreement for high-efficiency PV modules. The recent 130MW TNC 2.0 high-efficiency module supply agreement signifies a new phase of closer collaboration between the two entities.

By utilizing core technologies, such as 908 technology (Tongwei's self-developed 0BB technology), screen printing, and Poly Tech, the TNC 2.0 products have achieved revolutionary upgrades while inheriting traditional advantages, driving the leap in module efficiency and bringing value solutions to global PV users.

A symposium held for exchange

Mr. Qiu emphasized that this collaboration with PVO represents a further integration of resources and strengths. The high efficiency and reliability of Tongwei's TNC 2.0 modules, combined with PVO's channel advantages in the European market, will drive the energy transformation in Europe and accelerate efficiency improvements.
