Recently, the 2025 TrendBank 0BB Industry Summit and the Third General Meeting of the Fourth Council of the Zhejiang Solar Photovoltaic Industry Association, hosted by TrendBank, was held in Haining, Zhejiang Province. In his speech titled Tongwei's 0BB Interconnection Technology and Key Performance Research, Assistant Minister Ding Changlin introduced Tongwei's 908 (Tongwei's independently developed 0BB technology) interconnection technology, the advantages of mass-produced 908 technology, and the 908 interconnection technology platform. He stated that Tongwei's independently developed 908 interconnection technology platform possesses multiple technical advantages and has now been officially introduced into mass production. Verified through mass production, Tongwei 908 0BB increases power by nearly 1%, and its flexible interconnection features ensure excellent performance in terms of module process stability and aging resistance. At the same time, Tongwei 908 technology has good compatibility with various cell technology routes. Tongwei has already integrated 908 technology with TOPCon and HJT, and the mass production power of TNC 2.0 products with 908 technology has reached 650 watts (G12R-66) and 745 watts (G12-66), while THC products have reached a mass production power of 760 watts.

Speaking of the compatibility of 908 with future technologies, Assistant Minister Ding Changlin believes that the 908 technology platform has good compatibility with multi-segmentation, stacking, and triangular welding tape technologies on the module side, as well as EPT, steel plate, and new metallization technologies on the cell side. Tongwei will also continue to iterate mass-produced component products based on this platform.
