Recently, the Energy Management Committee of Tongwei Co., Ltd. invited experts from the BSI Management Systems Certification (Beijing) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as BSI) to Sichuan Yongxiang New Energy Co., Ltd. to carry out the verification of greenhouse gas emissions in 2024 based on ISO14064-1:2018, a general standard for greenhouse gas emission accounting of global organizations. Relevant technicians from Yongxiang New Energy were involved in the verification.

This verification is an important part of carbon verification at the organizational level of Tongwei Co., Ltd. Through this verification, Yongxiang New Energy can keep pace with Tongwei Co., Ltd. to master the carbon emission status, in order to further improve the carbon emission management and green sustainability of the company, and to lay a solid foundation for realizing the goal of "double carbon".

During the verification period, BSI experts identified the sources of Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions in Yongxiang New Energy in strict accordance with ISO14064-3 standard, with an identification rate of 100%. They comprehensively inspected the sources and measurement methods of activity data, emission factor selection and internal control management process, and verified data certificates on a one-by-one basis to ensure the authenticity, accuracy and reliability of the data, which mainly involved the consumption of natural gas, gasoline, diesel and other energy, use of productive raw materials, waste disposal methods, and upstream and downstream transportation.

After the verification, BSI experts explained the deviations found in this period, proposed appropriate corrective measures, and offered professional suggestions on carbon management optimization based on the actual situation of the company. The company will take this verification as an opportunity to make one-by-one rectifications in strict accordance with the standard to ensure compliance with the verification requirements, and adopt the same inspection method as that of all subsidiaries of Tongwei Co., Ltd. to ensure the consistency of the method.
