As an annual international event in the PV and energy storage industries in China and even the world, 2024 the 7th China International PV and Energy Storage Industry Conference was successfully held from November 17 to 20.

The newly upgraded 7th China International PV and Energy Storage Industry Conference this year maintained the characteristics of "high profile, high level, and high standard" of previous sessions, continued improving its level of "internationality, industrial significance, professionalism, and pragmatism," and highlighted the feature of "new era, new model, new vision, and new pattern," achieving shining results: Shi Xiaolin, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee and Governor of the People's Government of Sichuan Province, made a special trip to the conference site to meet with the guests and affirm the important contributions made by previous sessions to the development of Sichuan and the industry. Attendees at the conference included important leaders at the national, provincial and municipal levels, global leading entrepreneurs, and top experts and scholars. The number of foreign guests and the number of authoritative co-organizers both set a record high. In these four days, 30 activities of different types were carried out, with the engagement of nearly 4,000 participating and exhibiting companies and a total contractual value of over RMB 30 billion for various projects. An energy storage exhibition section was set and opened for the first time, and 15 professional and academic parallel meetings were held for the first time as well. Since 2018, the China International PV and Energy Storage Industry Conference has been successfully held for seven consecutive sessions. It is now one of the three largest-scale and highest-level international PV and energy storage events in western China and even the world. Under the guidance of the "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality" goals, Sichuan ushered in a rapid development stage of the crystalline silicon PV industry and built a 100-billion-yuan-scale PV industry economic corridor connecting Chengdu, Meishan and Leshan. At the same time, cities such as Yibin and Guangyuan have also become hot spots for PV investment and been striving to grow into new global PV highlands. This conference has once again attracted the world's attention to Sichuan, a hot land of PV development.
