From July 2 to 4, 2025, Tongwei showcased its TNC 2.0 high-efficiency modules at the ASEAN Sustainable Energy Week (ASEW) 2025 in Bangkok, Thailand. Under the theme "Evolution of Performance," the company comprehensively demonstrated the environmental adaptability and system application value of its products under complex climatic conditions.
Located in the tropics, Thailand experiences year-round high temperatures and humidity, with coastal areas facing additional challenges like salt mist erosion, demanding higher requirements for the long-term stable operation of PV modules. The Tongwei TNC 2.0 module adopts 2.0mm semi-tempered glass on both front and back sides (approximately 25% thicker than traditional single-glass designs). The front glass features a double-layer coating, while the back replaces the organic backsheet encapsulation of conventional single-glass modules, forming a physical anti-penetration armor that effectively reduces moisture permeability and enhances corrosion resistance.
Furthermore, TNC 2.0 has passed stringent reliability tests, with all performance metrics strictly verified against Tongwei's internal control standards that exceed double IEC requirements. It achieves industry-leading performance, passing certifications such as DH2000 for high-humidity environments, PID 288 for damp heat conditions, and IEC-63126 for high-temperature environments, making it ideal for typical Southeast Asian climates characterized by high humidity, heat, and strong irradiation.
Addressing Thailand's distributed-dominated market needs, TNC 2.0 offers a solution with greater system value through its high conversion efficiency, exceptional weather resistance, and long-term reliability. Leveraging four advanced technologies—908 (Tongwei's proprietary 0BB technology), TPE, Poly Tech, and steel screen printing—TNC 2.0 achieves comprehensive evolution from structure to performance, precisely meeting the diverse demands of local customers.
