Efficiency Evolution: The Innovation Engine for the Dutch PV Market

The European PV market is gradually transitioning from "subsidy dependence" to "market-oriented competition". The Dutch government's policy adjustments, which are gradually canceling the net metering model, mark a shift in the Dutch market's orientation from policy incentives to technology-driven development, prompting companies to continuously empower users through technological innovation to maintain market competitiveness.

The Tongwei TNC 2.0 series actively responds to European customers' demand for "full investment cycle rate of return" through efficiency improvements and enhanced reliability, forming a high degree of coupling between technology supply and market demand. During the exhibition, Tongwei focused on showcasing four new TNC 2.0 products: TNC-G12R 48HD/54HD/66HD and TNC-G12 66HD. Tongwei TNC 2.0 achieves performance breakthroughs and significantly improves module power and conversion efficiency through four major technological upgrades, including 908 technology (Tongwei's independently developed 0BB technology), EPT passivation technology, steel mesh printing technology, and Poly Tech.

Compared to traditional welding technology, 908 technology adopts a low-temperature welding process, reducing the risk of hidden cracks in the cells, and finely prints grid lines, creating a smooth current "expressway", resulting in higher efficiency. It also uses a fully open structure design for the screen, facilitating smoother paste flow through the screen and resulting in more uniform and flatter grid lines, thus achieving improved electrical performance. By utilizing optimized passivation materials to treat the laser-cut sides of the cells, the damage to the passivation layer and lattice defects after cell fragmentation are repaired, effectively reducing recombination centers and improving cell performance. Simultaneously, selective treatment of the rear-side Poly enhances the cell's short-circuit current, ultimately leading to increased cell efficiency.

Exhibition Highlights: Strategic Demonstration of Technological Empowerment and Ecosystem Collaboration

During the keynote speech TNC 2.0 Empowers the Netherlands, Tian Ransheng, Overseas Technical Support of Module Marketing from PV Business Department of Tongwei Co., Ltd., provided an in-depth analysis of the application potential of the TNC 2.0 series in the Dutch market from both a technical perspective and market foresight. This not only showcased Tongwei's technological prowess but also validated its unique competitive advantages in the European market through detailed data.

During the exhibition, Tongwei signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Generation Green of the Netherlands. Both parties will take the efficient module cooperation as a fulcrum, focusing on market channel sharing and joint project development to achieve comprehensive and in-depth complementarity.

Humanistic Radiance: Tongwei Sows "Sustainable Warmth" in the Netherlands

Tongwei's presence in the Netherlands is not merely an expansion of its module business but also a warm narrative of coexistence with local communities. As a significant achievement of this strategic layout, Tongwei, in collaboration with PROFINRG B.V., has developed a 46MW ground-mounted PV power station project in Almelo, the Netherlands. This project, Tongwei's first large-scale ground-mounted power station in the country, fully utilizes Tongwei modules, stably providing approximately 63.8 million kWh of clean electricity annually and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 60,000 tons. From project planning to completion, Tongwei has consistently driven local green transformation and energy structure optimization with efficient execution, contributing substantial strength to regional sustainable development.

At the same time, another milestone project for Tongwei in the Netherlands—the Dorst Ground-Mounted PV Power Station—was successfully connected to the grid in July 2024. The project completed the entire process from module delivery to grid connection in just four months, perfectly exemplifying "Tongwei Speed". The TNC-G12 66 modules used in the project generate an average annual electricity output of 11.92 million kWh, providing stable clean energy for 7,060 households. As the first project in Europe to successfully apply N-type 210 large-size modules, the Dorst Power Station not only sets a benchmark for efficiency and economy but also highlights Tongwei's exceptional capabilities in rapid response and localized services.
