Recently, PV Tech announced
2024 Global Top 10 PV Module Suppliers Ranking,
with Tongwei's high-efficiency modules
securing a place in the Top 5.
As of now,
Tongwei's modules have established a presence in over 70 countries and regions worldwide,
being widely utilized in various "PV+" scenarios,
including residential rooftops, commercial and industrial distributed systems
and large-scale centralized power plants,
continuously injecting green energy into the global market.
Here’s a quick overview of
Tongwei modules'
global partnerships.
PART.1
Croatia
In January 2024,
Tongwei signed a module supply agreement for a PV project
with KONCAR in Croatia.
Tongwei will provide high-efficiency bifacial power generation modules
for the development and construction of the Dugopolje PV power station project
in Dugopolje, Croatia.
This project is currently
the largest planned PV power generation project in Croatia,
with a peak capacity of 13.54MW
and a grid-connected capacity of 10MW.
Once operational,
it is expected to generate 17.2 million kWh annually,
meeting the electricity needs of approximately 6,000 local households for a year.
PART.2
Europe
In March 2024,
during the KEY Energy exhibition in Italy,
Tongwei signed a 16-month cooperation agreement
with Zeliatech,
involving an installed capacity of 250MW.
Together, they will provide high-quality Tongwei module products and after-sales services
to customers in the European region.
PART.3
Italy
In March 2024,
Genertec Italia SRL,
a subsidiary of China National Machinery Import & Export Corporation,
officially signed a strategic annual cooperation agreement with Tongwei for 700MW
in 2024.
Under this new strategic cooperation agreement,
Tongwei will enhance its research and development efforts,
continuously optimize product performance,
and deepen collaboration with Genertec Italia SRL
in the Italian market,
jointly promoting the sustainable development of the global new energy industry.
PART.4
South Africa
In June 2024,
Tongwei entered into a collaboration agreement
with AMEA Power, a renewable energy developer in the Middle East and Africa,
to invest in, develop, construct, and operate
a large-scale 140MW ground-mounted PV project in South Africa.
The project will exclusively utilize
Tongwei's N-type high-efficiency PV modules.
This project marks Tongwei's first
large-scale ground-mounted PV project in Africa
which, once connected to the grid,
is expected to meet the electricity needs of approximately 25,000 local households.
PART.5
Dorst, the Netherlands
In July 2024,
the Tongwei-supplied ground-mounted PV power station project in Doster, Netherlands
was completed.
This project is notable for being the first in Europe to utilize N-type 210 large-size modules,
all of which are Tongwei's TNC-G1266 modules.
With a total installed capacity of 13.62MW,
the project is anticipated to generate 11.92 million kWh of electricity annually,
sufficient to power 7,060 local households
and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 11,200 tons.
PART.6
Mexico
In July 2024,
Tongwei signed a cooperation agreement with
Grupo Dragon, a major power company in Mexico.
Under this agreement,
both parties will collaborate to provide green energy solutions
for Mexico's Elektra,
jointly establishing 227 "solar storage stores".
Upon completion,
the project is expected to generate an average annual electricity output of 35.5 million kWh,
resulting in a reduction of carbon dioxide emissions by 33,400 tons.
PART.7
Saudi Arabia
In September 2024,
Tongwei signed a supply agreement for the Saudi PIF Phase IV MUWAYH PV project
with ACWA Power.
Tongwei will supply 1.175GW of
TNC-G12R 66 high-efficiency PV modules for the project,
which is projected to generate
approximately 1.6297 billion kWh of clean electricity annually,
equivalent to a reduction of nearly 1,535,030 tons of carbon dioxide emissions,
thereby providing robust support for
Saudi Arabia's goal of achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2060.
PART.8
Northwest Europe
In December 2024,
Tongwei and PVO International cooperated for the third time
with a memorandum of understanding for a 350MW project
and reached a tripartite supply agreement for high-efficiency PV modules.
This partnership signifies a new height in the strategic cooperation
between Tongwei and PVO in the Northwest European market,
as both parties commit to jointly building
a green energy ecosystem in Northwest Europe
and contributing more to the global energy transition.
Today's PV sector in China
has established the most comprehensive PV industrial chain globally,
capturing over 85% of the market share worldwide.
As a significant contributor and driving force
in the development of the PV new energy industry in China and beyond,
Tongwei is committed to uniting efforts and advancing towards innovation,
providing more Tongwei PV products and solutions
to facilitate the global transition to green energy.
