Tongwei Donates RMB200, 000 to Help Rural Migrant Workers to Return Home for Their Own Business

To attract more rural migrant workers and university students to return home and start their own business, on January 20th, the swapping experience conference themed with “To start a business in the hometown, to do contribution in the trial area” was held by Chengdu General Labor Union. Wang Jianping, party secretary of Chengdu General Labor Union and executive vice chairman, Cao Rong, vice chairman of Chengdu General Labor Union presented. Wan Xuegang, assistant president of Tongwei Co., Ltd and general manager of Ronglai Tongwei were invited to deliver a speech on behalf of enterprises in the training and demonstration business base. Li Siyu, chairman of Tongwei Group’s labor union, directors from labor unions of cities and counties in Chengdu and business representatives participated.    

This conference aims to praise the business representatives and excellent enterprises selected in the activity themed with “to start a business in the hometown, to do contribution in the trial area”. In the conference, Li Yunquan, customer of Ronglai Tongwei, was nominated “Business Model” and 17 enterprises including Tongwei Agricultural Investment Holding Company, Ronglai Tongwei, were nominated “Training and Demonstration Business Base”. Meanwhile, Wan Xuegang, on behalf of Tongwei, donates 200,000 to help rural migrant workers to return home and start their own business. 

The activity themed with “to start a business in the hometown, to do contributions in the trial area” was launched in 2008 by Chengdu General Labor Union to help rural migrant workers to return to their hometown and establish their own business. Since then, due to the efforts of enterprises including Tongwei Group and different government departments, a large quantity of rural migrant workers establish their business or find jobs in the rural areas.
