The delegation successively toured the Tongwei PV Science and Technology Museum and the Group Experience Center, gaining in-depth insights into Tongwei's development history and the current status of its core main businesses. They spoke highly of Tongwei's development achievements over the years in the agriculture and photovoltaic new energy sectors, as well as its leading technological strength.

During the keynote sharing, Mr. Hu stated that every leapfrog development of Tongwei has always been closely aligned with national strategic orientations and kept pace with the development of the times. Over the past nearly 20 years, Tongwei has continuously deepened its presence in the photovoltaic industry, successfully establishing two global leading positions in high-purity polysilicon and high-efficiency solar cells, forming remarkable industrial chain competitive advantages.

At present, China's energy landscape is at a historic turning point. According to the latest data from the National Energy Administration, by the end of July this year, the national installed photovoltaic power generation capacity reached ‌1.286 billion kilowatts‌, making photovoltaic officially China's largest power source. This milestone breakthrough marks that the energy structure transformation has entered a brand-new stage. Moving forward on the new journey toward the "Dual Carbon" goals, Tongwei will continue to be guided by national strategies, unswervingly promote the high-quality development of the photovoltaic industry, fully support the growth of Sichuan's green and low-carbon advantageous industries, and contribute Tongwei's strength to China's energy transition.

On-site Symposium and Exchange

During the visit, Mr. Hu also engaged in interactive discussions with the guests on topics including industry development trends, ESG sustainable development, the new collaborative development model of "computing power + energy", the global layout of the new energy industry, and efforts to facilitate global energy transition. The guests expressed their gratitude to Tongwei for the meticulous preparation of this inspection and exchange, noting that this on-site visit and interactive communication at Tongwei was extremely rewarding. Ye Qiang, Executive Dean of the School of Science and Technology Business and the School of Management of the University of Science and Technology of China, stated that through the on-site inspection of Tongwei, he not only learned about Tongwei's 44-year development history and achievements, but also gained insights into its business management wisdom, which serves as a valuable reference for enterprise management and development.
