Report from our correspondent Expanding horizons through practice, integrating industry and education to boost employment. Recently, multiple renowned media outlets including Xinhua News Agency, CCTV's Morning News, CCTV's News 1+1, Sichuan Daily, and West China City Daily have focused on TW Solar (Chengdu) Co., Ltd.'s collaboration with Southwest Petroleum University to establish the "TW Solar Class", creating a comprehensive demonstration base for industry-education integration in Sichuan's PV industry.

Reports indicate that in 2019, Southwest Petroleum University and TW Solar (Chengdu) Co., Ltd. jointly launched the "TW Solar Class", where curriculum content keeps pace with industrial development. Over 90% of students in this talent cultivation program transition to employment after internships, with more than 30% becoming technical backbones in the enterprise. Each student in the program benefits from a dedicated "mentorship team" composed of academic instructors, corporate engineers, and industry experts. This "tri-mentor" system provides comprehensive guidance throughout students' learning, practical training, and research, ensuring their knowledge acquisition remains synchronized with industrial upgrading.

Sun Yijiao, head of the Human Resources Department, told reporters that the program incorporates corporate culture, industry technical standards, job skill requirements, and hands-on training during cultivation. Graduates emerge with both solid theoretical foundations and extensive practical experience. Hu Biao, the person in charge of TW Solar's industry-academia cooperation, noted during his interview that students demonstrate exceptional enthusiasm for production line internships, practical training, operational exercises, and process workflows during training, which significantly enhances their technical proficiency. The program not only provides a theoretical learning platform but also exposes students to cutting-edge PV technologies, enabling practical application and study in factory workshops.

TW Solar's talent cultivation program, which brings production lines into classrooms and translates academic research into shop floor practice, truly embodies industry-education integration. Simultaneously, enterprises also gain access to customized talent development. This innovative model of school-enterprise cooperation connects the PV education chains, talent pipelines, industrial ecosystems, and innovation networks, organically linking talent cultivation, scientific and technological innovation, and achievement transformation, which is conducive to continuously cultivating high-quality, innovative talents for the development of the photovoltaic new energy industry.
