On June 18, the 22nd World Brand Summit sponsored by World Brand Lab was held in Beijing. The list of China's 500 Most Valuable Brands in 20245 was released at the Summit. According to China's 500 Most Valuable Brands, the total brand value in 2025 is RMB 42.03 trillion, a YoY increase of RMB 3.46 trillion or 12.35%. Dr. Steve Woolgar, Chairman of the Academic Committee of the World Brand Lab and Honorary Professor of Marketing at Oxford University, said that over the past 20 years, the world has witnessed the rapid growth of Chinese brands, some of which have had a strong global influence, including State Grid, Haier, Sinochem, China Resources, Sinochem, China Southern Power Grid, HBIS Group, China Huadian, Wuliangye, Tongwei, and Bosideng have become the best-performing brands in 2025.

In 2025, Tongwei's brand value reached a new historical high of RMB 251.092 billion, ranking 41st. The brand value increased by RMB 20.533 billion compared to last year. It is among the top three most valuable brands of Sichuan enterprises, along with Wuliangye and Changhong, and continues to maintain its leading position as the global leader in brand value in the aquaculture and PV industries.

This year marks the 22nd year for World Brand Lab to compile China's 500 Most Valuable Brands. In 2004, the threshold for inclusion in the list was only RMB 500 million, and the average value of the top 500 brands was RMB 4.943 billion. In 2025, 22 years later, the entry threshold has increased to RMB 4.291 billion, and the average value of the top 500 brands has reached RMB 84.053 billion, a staggering of 1600.45%. This year, the value of 135 Chinese brands exceeds RMB 100 billion, an increase of 27 compared to last year, demonstrating the prosperity of the Chinese brand economy.
Tongwei has been included into this Chinese brand portfolio of high international credibility and recognition and strong authoritativeness and reference for consecutively 22 years. The brand value has increased from RMB 1.9 billion in 2004 to RMB 251.092 billion this year, an increase of more than 130 times, constantly breaking historical records.
