On February 21, Tongwei Co., Ltd.'s PV Technology Center announced that, following testing by the internationally recognized certification body TÜV Rheinland, the Tongwei THC 210 high-efficiency heterojunction module achieved a power output of 783.2W and a conversion efficiency exceeding 25.21% under the standard module size of 2384*1303mm, successfully surpassing the new milestone of 780W. This achievement marks the tenth time Tongwei has broken the power and efficiency records for heterojunction modules since 2023.

Innovation Empowerment: Continuously Breaking Records
Since the establishment of the Tongwei Global Innovation R&D Center in June 2024, the research team has made further advancements in core technologies such as passivation of heterojunction cells, coating improvements, and module 908 interconnection and high-throughput dense packing, successfully elevating the power output of heterojunction modules to a new level of 780W. This achievement also represents the second time the T6 workshop of the Tongwei Global Innovation R&D Center has set a new record for heterojunction modules.
Since first establishing a power record in January 2023, Tongwei's PV R&D team has enhanced the power output of heterojunction modules by over 60W and improved conversion efficiency by more than 2% through in-depth research into the integrated technology of heterojunction cell modules with in two years, marking the tenth record-breaking achievement in heterojunction modules.

R&D Pioneer: Driving the Future
As a pioneer in the field of heterojunction technology, Tongwei continues to drive technological innovation, injecting new momentum into industry development. In 2018, Tongwei was the first to invest in HJT technology, establishing the country's first GW-level HJT production line in 2021 and initiating the industry's first 210 half-cell HJT project development. In July 2022, Tongwei completed the development of the industry's first bifacial microcrystalline HJT cell. Tongwei has built a "cost reduction and efficiency enhancement" ecosystem through advancements in bifacial microcrystalline technology, copper interconnection without silver metallization, and 0BB module technology, collectively driving the large-scale production of HJT and continuously leading technological upgrades in the industry. Among these, the copper interconnection technology has formed an industry-leading THL solution capable of GW-scale production.
