Recently, six authorities including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Finance, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, the State Administration for Market Regulation, and the National Data Administration jointly released the "Project publicity of Excellence-Level Smart Factory (First Batch)". This recognition marks the first official certification of excellence-level smart factories by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, signifying significant progress in China's efforts to promote digital transformation and intelligent upgrading of the manufacturing industry. Only ten enterprises from Sichuan Province stood out, among which TW Solar (Chengdu) Co., Ltd. proudly made the list.

By the end of 2024, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, together with five other departments, initiated a gradient cultivation action for smart factories, establishing a comprehensive system for cultivating smart factories across four levels: foundational, advanced, excellence, and leading. The Implementation Plan for the Gradient Cultivation Action of Smart Factories explicitly states the goal of prioritizing the development of excellence-level smart factories and encourages advanced-level smart factories to achieve integrated connectivity and comprehensive optimization across all manufacturing processes, with the goal of progressing towards excellence-level status.

As one of the first enterprises selected as an excellence-level smart factory, TW Solar (Chengdu) Co., Ltd. has made significant breakthroughs in its core technological processes in the Networked Collaborative Smart Factory for High-efficiency Crystalline Silicon Solar Cells. The company has extensively utilized intelligent manufacturing equipment and mobile robots with domestically produced cores in the production process of high-efficiency crystalline silicon solar cells, achieving efficient production through digitization and intelligence. This honor not only affirms the company's commitment to implementing the General Office of the State Council's Action Plan for the Digital Transformation of Manufacturing and the 14th Five-Year Plan for Intelligent Manufacturing Development, but also recognizes its proactive response to national policies aimed at accelerating the digital, networked, and intelligent transformation of the manufacturing industry.
