Chairman Liu Selected Vice President of SCU Economic Development Institute

October, 16, the establishment ceremony of Sichuan University Economic Development Institute was held at SCU. Vice Chairman of the NPC standing committee, Chairman of China Democratic National Construction Association, Mr. Chen Changzhi, President of Sichuan University, Mr. Xie Heping, Standing Committee member of the CPPCC, Board Chairman of Tongwei Group, Mr. Liu Hanyuan and other provincial government officials were invited to the ceremony. Mr. Chen was selected Honorary President of the Institute. Mr. Liu Hanyuan, Mr. Xie Heping, and the Mayor of Chengdu, Mr. Ge Honglin were selected Vice President. The Institute is aimed at integrating related sources on university economy and management to further promote a philosophy and social sciences based regional economy.
