On Dec. 4th, 2009 the Annual Excellent Newspaper Selecting Session of Chengdu Enterprise Journalist Association was hosted by Enterprise Newspaper Branch, Chengdu Journalists Association. In the session, Tongwei Newspaper was nominated “2009 Annual Excellent Enterprise Newspaper of Chengdu”.

　　There are nearly 30 newspapers, many of which are newspapers of large state-owned enterprises, participated in this session, representing influential and high-level enterprise newspapers in Chengdu. 

　　Judging committee was formed by leaders and seniors of Sichuan Press invited by Chengdu Journalist Association to ensure the authority and fairness of the selecting process.
