Tongwei TNC 3.0 Module
Its cells employ 360° three-dimensional passivation technology
What else is special about this technology?
Let's keep exploring!
360° Three-Dimensional Passivation Technology
Not only addresses front and back issues
but also targets side defect problems
Achieving a "full-wrap" protection effect
Conventional cells are produced as full-size wafers
However, the current market's
mainstream modules are half-cut or multi-cut modules

In other words
after module manufacturers receive the cells
they still need to cut each cell in half or even more
And during the cutting process
damage is generated at the cut edges of the cells

Just like cutting a cream cake in half
the cut sides will have many air pockets
with no cream

This causes the full-size produced
cells to have very high efficiency
but when used in modules
the half-cut cell efficiency drops significantly
Tongwei TNC 3.0 adopts TPE technology
After cutting the cell "cake"
it applies a layer of "cream" on the sides
Filling in the air pockets on the "cake" surface
for repair

This method reduces the situation where
electrons generated in the cells
run to the sides
and fall into "pits"
Achieving a "current-conserving" effect
Ensuring more electricity can be output to the outside of the module
