On January 15, under the guidance of the Chengdu Municipal Education Bureau and Chengdu Media Group, the "Education Influences the City" Chengdu Education Annual Ceremony & the 9th Chengdu Education EPC Annual Ceremony, hosted by Chengdu Economic Daily-Red Star News-Red Star Education Media, was held at the Sichuan Provincial Culture and Arts Center.

The Tongwei Group's 2026 Media Networking Event was held in Chengdu on January 13, under the theme "Exchange and Mutual Learning. Media-Enterprise Win-Win, Through Thick and Thin." Nearly 40 central-level media, mainstream media, financial media, and financial/industry self-media based in Sichuan gathered at Tongwei.
