From July 13 to 15, the 7th Standing Committee Meeting of the 13th All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC) was held in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia. The meeting thoroughly studied and implemented Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, fully implemented the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress and all plenary sessions of the 20th Central Committee, and deeply understood the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech at the ceremony marking the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. It reviewed the work in the first half of the year, analyzed the current situation, and deployed the work for the second half of the year. Gao Yunlong, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Chairman of ACFIC, delivered a work report. Wang Hongyan, Member of the Leading Party Members' Group and Vice Chairman of ACFIC, made a concluding speech. Liu Hanyuan, a deputy to the National People's Congress, Vice Chairman of ACFIC, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tongwei Group, attended the meeting.

The meeting pointed out that since the beginning of this year, under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core, China's economic development has made steady progress. The positive effects of the Private Economy Promotion Law have continued to unfold, the modern industrial system has been built at an accelerated pace, and the new generation of entrepreneurs has carried forward the legacy and forged ahead. The private economy has a more solid foundation for new and high-quality development, more robust guarantees for a secure and stable business environment, broader space for innovation and creation, and more surging vitality for pioneering and innovation. The vast number of private entrepreneurs should maintain their resolve, seize the momentum to forge ahead, take the initiative in development, enhance their core capabilities for growth, and deliver tangible results through down-to-earth efforts. They should strengthen their awareness of the rule of law, make full use of relevant policies, start businesses with full confidence and develop with peace of mind, and march toward a broader future under the support of sound laws and good governance. They should scale new heights on the path of scientific and technological innovation, stand at the forefront in the journey of overcoming difficulties, and demonstrate new achievements in building a modern industrial system. They must unswervingly follow the Party, embrace the ambition to serve the country, focus wholeheartedly on development, operate in accordance with the law and with integrity, and promote common prosperity through prosperity for themselves. They should integrate their personal pursuits and the development of their enterprises into the cause of the Party and the country, and strive to create a new situation of high-quality development of the private economy.

At the concurrently held 15th Chairmen's Meeting of the 13th ACFIC, Chairman Liu Hanyuan stated in his speech that in recent years, China's new energy industry has developed rapidly, but there is still a gap to achieving carbon neutrality by 2060. During the 15th Five-Year Plan period, China is in a position to further accelerate its domestic energy transition and scale up the installed capacity of renewable energy. This will not only effectively strengthen the national energy security barrier, but also eliminate excessive "involution" in some industries, effectively drive sustained economic improvement, and help China take the lead in global climate governance.

The meeting elected and adopted relevant personnel matters. Dong Yu, Executive Vice President of the China Institute of Development Planning at Tsinghua University, was invited to give a special guidance report on the Outline of the 15th Five-Year Plan. An ideal and faith report meeting for people in the private economy across the country was held under the theme of "Striving Forward in the 15th Five-Year Plan, Private Enterprises Taking on Responsibilities". The meeting notified the handling of opinions and suggestions from private enterprises in the first half of the year, and released the China Private Enterprise Social Responsibility Report (2026). During the period, the People's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and ACFIC jointly hosted a series of activities of the Conference of Renowned National Private Enterprises to Assist High-Quality Development in Inner Mongolia.
