On 12 December, the World Brand Lab released the 2024 World's 500 Most Influential Brands (21st edition) list in New York, U.S. Tongwei was on this list again, ranking 431st, up 8 spots from last year, due to its robust development strength and brand influence.

As a long-standing institute in the global brand industry, the highly recognized World Brand Lab is one of the world's three prominent brand value evaluation authorities. Its research results have provided an important basis for assessing the intangible assets of many enterprises. According to the three key indicators of brand influence, namely Market Share, Brand Loyalty and Global Leadership, the World Brand Lab comprehensively evaluated more than 8,000 well-known brands around the world, and finally launched the World's 500 Most Influential Brands. On the list of the 2024 World's 500 Most Influential Brands, brands from the U.S. are dominated, and the number of selected Chinese brands (50) surpassed that of selected Japanese brands (42), ranking third in the world.

The list of the 2024 World's 500 Most Influential Brands covers a total of 49 sectors, Among them, 33 brands in the food and beverage industry were on the list, ranking first; 32 brands of automobile and parts were on the list, ranking second; 29 brands in the energy sector were on the list, ranking third; 28 retail brands were on the list, ranking fourth; 25 brands in the internet sector were on the list, ranking fifth.

This year is the 21st year of the World Brand Lab's World Brand Report. Over the past 21 years, the number of selected Chinese brands has risen from 1 to more than 50, and Chinese enterprises have shown unprecedented determination in the process of globalization, expanding overseas markets and spreading their footprints all over the world.
