Anchor the New Highland of "Establishing Parks and Revitalizing Industries" Intelligent Manufacturing

At present, Jintang County is actively seizing multiple strategic opportunities including national strategic hinterland construction, key industrial backup and the new round of large-scale development of the western region, anchoring the "Double Hundred Billion" goal. Relying on two provincial-level development zones — Sichuan Jintang Economic Development Zone and Chengdu-Aba Industrial Park, as well as Tianfu Jundu Agricultural Industrial Park, a five-star modern agricultural park in Chengdu, it is deeply promoting the "Establish and Full the Park" initiative, and accelerating the construction of a national demonstration zone for green and low-carbon high-quality development. In 2025, the total output value of green and low-carbon industries exceeded 64.1 billion yuan, the industrial agglomeration rate reached 87%, and the green new material industrial cluster was selected into the list of characteristic industrial clusters of small and medium-sized enterprises in Sichuan Province.
In the first half of 2026, Jintang County achieved a GDP of 37.57 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.5%. The secondary industry acts as the core engine driving economic growth, accelerating the industrial upgrading and transformation of Jintang. In the layout of green and low-carbon industries, Jintang County focuses on advantageous industries such as crystalline silicon photovoltaic, new lithium battery, energy conservation and environmental protection, and gradually builds a development trend led by chain owners and coordinated by supporting facilities. In the field of crystalline silicon photovoltaic, global leading enterprises such as Tongwei Solar and Trina Solar have gathered, fully opening up the three key links of wafer, cell and module, building the world's first 5G intelligent factory in the photovoltaic industry, and forming an annual production capacity of 20GW wafers, 34.5GW cells and 20GW modules. In the field of new lithium batteries, global leading enterprises such as Bamo Technology and CATL have gathered, forming the scale advantage of annual production capacity of 87,500 tons of high-nickel ternary materials, 15,000 tons of lithium cobalt oxide, 100,000 tons of lithium iron phosphate cathode materials and 20,000 tons of battery-grade aluminum foil, and building the world's first zero-carbon factory for cathode materials.

Green Powering the Future — The Main Bearing Area of Green and Low-carbon Advantageous Industries

As the main bearing area of Chengdu's green and low-carbon advantageous industries, Sichuan Jintang Economic Development Zone (Chengdu-Aba Industrial Park) relies on characteristic sub-parks such as Jintang Crystalline Silicon Photovoltaic Industrial Park and Chengdu-Aba Lithium Battery Industrial Park to accelerate the construction of the "1232" advanced manufacturing system. It has gathered 5 national-level green factories and 7 provincial-level green factories, and the green new material industrial cluster has been selected into the list of characteristic industrial clusters of small and medium-sized enterprises in Sichuan Province. In 2025, the park completed the industrial output value of enterprises above designated size of 71.7 billion yuan, the total output value of green and low-carbon industries exceeded 64 billion yuan, and the industrial agglomeration rate reached 89.3%. At present, the park is accelerating the construction of the "Source-Grid-Load-Storage" new energy security system. On the power source side, the grid-connected distributed photovoltaic capacity exceeds 100MW. On the power grid side, Huizhou 500kV Substation has been completed and put into operation, and the construction of Yangxihu 220kV Substation and Chengjin 110kV Substation is being accelerated. On the load side, the operation terminal of the virtual power plant has been built, and key energy-using enterprises have been connected for trial operation. On the energy storage side, the user-side energy storage projects of Jintang CATL and Tonghe New Energy have been completed, and the construction of projects such as Tongwei 100MW/200MWh shared energy storage power station is being accelerated. A green energy supply network with multi-energy complementation and interconnection and mutual support is gradually taking shape, striving to build a national zero-carbon industrial demonstration park.

Facing the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, Jintang County will build the Green Valley New Material Industrial Park with high standards, focus on the three major tracks of new energy materials, chemical new materials and electronic chemicals, accelerate the cultivation of new growth poles of leading industries, and strive to make the output value of fine chemical industry exceed 30 billion yuan by 2030. It will optimize and strengthen the crystalline silicon photovoltaic and new lithium battery industries, promote the industrial chain to be strengthened, supplemented and extended, and strive to make the total output value of the two industries exceed 1000 billion yuan by 2030. In the future, Jintang County will continue to embrace cooperation with an open attitude, fully optimize the business environment, improve the industrial ecology, work together with the majority of enterprises to draw a cooperation blueprint, and promote the high-quality development of green and low-carbon industries.
