Canadian Swine Exporters Association Visited Tongwei

13 May 2009, the Canadian delegation headed by Mr. Martin Charron the Counselor at Canadian Embassy in China with representatives from Canadian consulates in Shanghai, Guangzhou and Chongqing, Alberta government office in Beijing, the Canadian Swine Exporters Association and its member enterprises visited Tongwei Group. In-depth discussion was carried out with Mr. Liu Hanyuan, Board chairman of Tongwei Group and his team in the areas of China agriculture, animal husbandry, and feed and livestock industry. Mr. Liu introduced current situation and trends in China’s animal husbandry industry, especially pork price increase in the first half year, H1N1 cases, pig price depression. Both sides agreed to seek further cooperation in the near future.
