This ranking has become a crucial benchmark for world-renowned enterprises to evaluate their strength, scale, and international competitiveness, serving as a barometer of global economic conditions.
Tongwei Group Secures Spot on 2025 Fortune Global 500 List
The total revenue of the companies on this year's Fortune Global 500 list is approximately USD 41.7 trillion, accounting for over one-third of the global GDP, representing an increase of about 1.8% compared to the previous year. The threshold for entry (minimum sales revenue) increased from USD 32.1 billion to USD 32.2 billion. The combined net profits of all listed companies increased by approximately 0.4%, totaling about USD 2.98 trillion. Both total assets and net assets of the 500 companies hit record highs since the ranking's inception. This year, including companies from Taiwan, there are a total of 130 Chinese companies on the list. Tongwei Group, with its robust development, has been included in the Fortune Global 500 for the third consecutive year in 2025, solidifying its position as a leading enterprise in the global photovoltaic and aquaculture sectors.
Under the leadership of Mr. Liu Hanyuan, Deputy to the NPC, Vice Chairman of All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tongwei Group, the company has consolidated its global leadership in high-purity crystalline silicon and solar cell production. In 2024, Tongwei's market share in high-purity crystalline silicon ranked first worldwide. Its cell shipments have been the highest globally for eight consecutive years (according to InfoLink Consulting), making it the first company in the industry to surpass 300GW in cumulative battery shipments. Additionally, its module shipments rank among the top five globally, with products distributed in over 70 countries and regions. Overseas shipments in 2024 saw a nearly twofold increase, achieving breakthroughs in GW-level projects in multiple countries.

In June 2024, Tongwei Global Innovation R&D Center was fully launched, focusing on the development of high-efficiency crystalline silicon cells and highly reliable module products.
