Global Launch: Higher Bifaciality, Higher Comprehensive Returns

At the booth, Sun Le, Product Manager of Module Marketing at the PV Business Division of Tongwei Co., Ltd., provided an in-depth analysis of the new product's advantages. Building upon the TNC 3.0 high-efficiency modules, the Tongwei TNC 3.0 light-gathering modules feature advanced process upgrades, achieving major technological breakthroughs in mass-production conversion efficiency and bifacial power generation performance with a bifaciality of up to 93.07%.

Superior comprehensive power generation, one more point of returns. With the TNC light-gathering technology, the rear-side bifaciality is boosted to the industry-leading level of 93.07%, enabling efficient synergy between the front and rear sides. The advantages are particularly prominent in scenarios represented by high-reflectivity ground surfaces. In a 100MW ground-mounted power station scenario in Hamburg, Germany, compared with conventional modules, it generates an additional 1.41 million yuan annually, turning technological improvements into tangible cash returns.

Low temperature coefficient, one more point of power generation. Thanks to Tongwei's independently developed 360° three-dimensional passivation cell technology, the TNC 3.0 light-gathering modules feature an excellent low temperature coefficient (-0.26%/°C). Even under harsh high-temperature conditions with intense midday sun, the modules maintain "cool" and efficient output. Especially in high-temperature, high-irradiance regions, compared with conventional modules, they deliver an additional single-module power gain of over 40W, defying heatwaves and ensuring consistently robust and high power generation returns.

Low degradation, one more point of value retention. A PV power station is a long-term investment spanning 30 years, making equipment anti-aging capability crucial. The TNC 3.0 light-gathering modules employ quad-cell technology, effectively reducing operating temperatures and slowing down encapsulation system aging. The first-year degradation rate is controlled within 1%, with an optimized annual linear degradation rate of 0.35%, ensuring stable power station operation. In a 100MW ground-mounted power station scenario in Hamburg, Germany, the modules can generate an additional 81.62 million kWh of electricity over their full lifecycle, firmly securing long-term compound returns over thirty years.

High reliability, one more point of safety. The TNC 3.0 light-gathering modules adopt louver-style interconnection technology, installing "suspended airbags" at cell connection points to effectively reduce the risk of micro-cracks during outdoor operation. Combined with the smaller cell area from quad-cell design, the modules' micro-crack resistance is increased by over 100%. Whether it's bumps during transportation and installation, or harsh overseas weather conditions such as strong winds and heavy snow, the risk of hidden damage and faults is effectively minimized, firmly safeguarding customers' project asset safety.

On the first day of the exhibition, Tongwei and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) jointly held a special cooperation report event. Richard Scotney, Global Head of Energy Efficiency at WWF International, delivered a speech elaborating on the severe challenges posed by climate warming to the global ecosystem, pointing out that accelerating the renewable energy transition and reducing carbon emissions are inevitable choices for protecting fragile ecosystems.

At the exhibition, Tongwei and TÜV Rheinland officially signed a cooperation memorandum on the "Digital Product Passport (DPP)" for PV modules.
