Recently, Wanmipo Culture Base in Baojing County, the export inspection base for Tongwei fish built by Xianxi Fenghuang Company, was nominated “Demonstration Farm for Healthy Aquaculture” by agricultural department.

Wanmipo culture base is the catfish culture base and inspection record base. Since 2007, the company devoted to the planning of water areas, the construction of fishery cooperatives and the promotion of pollution-free farming techniques. The water environment of this base is carefully protected and the cultivating is managed in a scientific way, which promotes the healthy aquaculture in Xiangxi area and fast development of fisheries economics.
