September, 29, the 2^nd phase project of 3,000 tons/year by Sichuan Yongxiang Polysilicon Co., Ltd. officially started production for qualified products. After 11 months since its construction in October, 2010, Yongxiang adopts the ‘Yongxiang producing method’ which has attained the national patent. The method uses large energy-saving electric reduction furnace, and the technique of waste heat utilization to realize closed recirculation of materials to avoid the production of silicon tetrachloride. The automation level, energy and material consumption indicators have all reached domestic leading level.
