The 10^th National Congress of the China National Democratic Construction Association (CNDCA) was held from December, 16 to 20.

Chen Changzhi, standing chairman of the CNDCA representative assembly made work report at the conference. Zhang Rongming, standing chairman of 10^th session presidium presided over the conference. Standing committee member of the CPPCC, standing committee of the CDNCA, and board chairman of Tongwei Group attended the event.

Congress delegates reviewed the recently concluded national congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC), mapped out plans for the future development of the CNDCA, revised the association’s constitution and elected a new central leadership. Chairman Liu Hanyuan was selected standing committee member of the 10^th central committee.

The CNDCA was founded by patriotic industrialists, businessmen and intellectuals in southwest China’s Chongqing Municipality on Dec. 16, 1945.
