Sichuan Province Committee of CNDAC has recently proposed in 2018 Sichuan NPC&CPPCC that Sichuan should develop PV industry with more efforts in areas of Sichuan where solar resource is sufficient. In particular, they have proposed that Sichuan should firstly increase the proportion of PV in energy structure; Secondly speed up the development of hydropower and solar energy complementation; Thirdly make electricity become the main source of energy consumption; Finally develop PV industry with poverty relief programs.
