From September 16 to 18, the 2026 World Solar PV & Energy Storage Industry Expo and the High-Quality Development Conference of the PV-Storage Industry was held in Guangzhou. Tongwei made a high-profile appearance with its full industrial chain achievements in PV new energy, fully demonstrating the leading level of China's PV manufacturing and the innovative strength of green development.

As a global leading PV enterprise, Tongwei brought a core product matrix including high-purity polysilicon, high-efficiency cells, and TNC series modules this time, fully presenting the technical accumulation of the full "polysilicon - cell - module" chain. In the upstream of the industrial chain, 210R high-efficiency monocrystalline silicon wafers and high-purity polysilicon series products including D1, D2, TW-1 and TW-2 attracted wide attention. The self-developed "Yongxiang Method" production process of Tongwei has been iteratively applied to the 8th generation, with the 9th generation in reserve. Its product quality and comprehensive technical indicators lead the industry, further consolidating the source advantage of the full industrial chain.

In terms of high-efficiency cells, the innovative achievements of the new-generation TNC high-efficiency cell technology were highlighted, attracting numerous exhibitors and merchants to stop for inquiries. From TNC 1.0 to TNC 3.0, the conversion efficiency of Tongwei's cells has been continuously improved, and the cell-side manufacturing technology has been making breakthroughs in loss control, efficiency improvement and manufacturing consistency, further supporting the power output at the module end. The synergy of multiple core cell-side manufacturing technologies can support a power increase of over 10W for modules of the same form factor, providing important cell-side support for the power improvement of high-efficiency modules.

At the exhibition site, Tongwei fully displayed the TNC 3.0 series and TNC 2.0 series module products suitable for diverse application scenarios such as overseas residential PV and ground-mounted power stations. Among them, the TNC 3.0 light-harvesting module became the "star product" that attracted the most attention on site with its leading high-efficiency performance. As an advanced work of the TNC 3.0 series, the TNC 3.0 light-harvesting module has achieved major technological breakthroughs in mass production conversion efficiency and bifacial power generation performance with a maximum bifaciality of 93.07%. Benefiting from the self-developed 360° three-dimensional passivation cell technology, the TNC 3.0 light-harvesting module has an excellent low temperature coefficient of -0.26%/℃. Meanwhile, the module applies the quarter-cut technology, which effectively reduces the operating temperature and delays the aging of the packaging system, controlling the first-year degradation rate within 1% and optimizing the annual linear degradation rate to 0.35%, ensuring the long-term stable operation of the power station.
