This marks the 23rd year that World Brand Lab has compiled the China brand report. The total brand value of the 2026 China's 500 Most Valuable Brands reached 45.29 trillion yuan, an increase of 3.26 trillion yuan (up 7.76%) compared to last year. Dr. Stephen Woolgar, Chairman of World Brand Lab and the WorldBrand.AI Academic Committee, and Honorary Professor of Marketing at Oxford University, stated that over the past two decades, Chinese brands have grown rapidly, with Tencent, Huawei, Haier, ICBC, China Mobile, China Construction Bank, Tongwei, Shougang Group, and others emerging as the top-performing brands of 2026.

Tongwei's Brand Value Reaches a New Record High of 275.639 Billion Yuan
In this highly authoritative and internationally recognized ranking, Tongwei has been listed for 23 consecutive years. Its brand value has soared from 1.9 billion yuan in 2004 to 275.639 billion yuan this year — a more than 140-fold increase, continuously setting new records. This not only demonstrates the global leadership of Chinese PV brands but also reflects the rising brand recognition, reputation, and influence of Chinese national brands in the global market.

A steady development trajectory and robust growth momentum form the solid foundation for Tongwei's continuous rise in brand value. Under the leadership of Mr. Liu Hanyuan, NPC Deputy, Vice Chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, and Chairman of the Board of Tongwei Group, Tongwei has been included in the Fortune Global 500 for three consecutive years, becoming the only Global 500 enterprise in the world's PV industry. Tongwei's high-purity crystalline silicon has topped the global market share and shipment volume rankings for many consecutive years, with a domestic market share exceeding 30%. Solar cell shipments have ranked first globally for nine consecutive years, and Tongwei has become the first company in the industry to achieve cumulative shipments surpassing 400 GW. With continuous breakthroughs in technology R&D, Tongwei's Global Innovation R&D Center is deeply committed to future PV technologies and has developed a series of major core technologies across TNC, THC, TBC, and perovskite/crystalline silicon tandem routes.
