On May 7, Mr. Chen Zhien, Consul-General of Singapore in Chengdu, and his delegation visited the Tongwei Global Innovation R&D Center and Tongwei Solar Chengdu Company. At the exhibition hall of the Tongwei Global Innovation R&D Center, Xing Guoqiang, Chief Technology Officer of Photovoltaics at Tongwei Co., Ltd., provided a detailed introduction to Consul-General Chen Zhien about the R&D progress, core breakthroughs, and industrialization achievements of the center in mainstream and cutting-edge technology routes such as TOPCon, HJT, xBC, THL, and perovskite/crystalline silicon tandem cells. Consul-General Chen Zhien listened attentively to the explanations, occasionally stopping to inquire about technical details, R&D investment, and market applications. He highly praised Tongwei's continuous deep involvement and outstanding achievements in the field of photovoltaic technological innovation.

Subsequently, Consul-General Chen Zhien and his delegation proceeded to Tongwei Solar Chengdu Company to visit the Tongwei Photovoltaic Science and Technology Museum and the zero-carbon factory. During the visit, the guests received a detailed briefing on Tongwei's development history and core innovation achievements in the two major fields of green agriculture and green energy, and gained an in-depth understanding of the progress made by Tongwei Solar in product development and technological breakthroughs. They highly appreciated Tongwei's achievements in intelligent manufacturing and green factory construction.

During the symposium and exchange session, the two sides exchanged views on issues such as the global energy structure. Chairman Liu Shuqi extended a warm welcome to Consul-General Chen Zhien and his delegation. She stated that Singapore boasts an excellent business environment, a well-established legal system, and efficient government services. As an important trade and financial center in the Asia-Pacific region, Singapore has accumulated rich experience in green and low-carbon development. Consul-General Chen Zhien introduced Singapore's energy structure, which is primarily based on natural gas, as well as the proactive measures taken to promote solar energy development under the condition of limited land resources. He emphasized that photovoltaic technology is a key support for achieving green transformation and expressed the hope that enterprises in Singapore and Sichuan will strengthen exchanges and interactions, enhance mutual understanding, and jointly promote the development of the green energy industry.
