"I knew that our country's photovoltaic (PV) industry was doing well, but I didn't expect it to be this good. The scale, technological sophistication, and rapid iteration far exceeded my expectations. After seeing the relevant exhibits, I truly felt the formidable strength of our country's industry in this field and felt extremely proud." A visitor exclaimed sincerely in the exhibition hall of the "Building a Strong Nation: China's Manufacturing Achievements Exhibition during the 14th Five-Year Plan Period" at the National Museum of China.
Since its opening, the exhibition has sparked enthusiastic responses from all sectors of society. Among the exhibits, Tongwei Group's displays have become a major highlight in the "New Three" section and the green manufacturing segment, vividly illustrating the leapfrog development achievements of China's PV industry during the 14th Five-Year Plan period and showcasing the robust capabilities of Chinese manufacturing in empowering the global energy transition.
In the "New Three" section, Tongwei's exhibits, including high-efficiency PV modules and cells, were showcased alongside new energy vehicles and lithium batteries, attracting numerous visitors to stop and take a look. Leveraging its technological advantages in the entire industrial chain, Tongwei has comprehensively deployed research and development in mainstream industry technologies such as TOPCon, HJT, BC, and perovskite/crystalline silicon tandem cells and modules. It has constructed a matrix of PV products with high conversion efficiency, strong reliability, and low cost per kilowatt-hour. Its independently developed TNC and THC high-efficiency modules have repeatedly set world records for power output, with mass production efficiency continuously leading the industry, providing a highly competitive "Chinese solution" for the global market.

In the clean energy equipment exhibition area within the green manufacturing segment, Tongwei's immersive experience zone titled "A Grain of Sand's Journey in PV Smart Manufacturing" became one of the focal points of the exhibition. From high-purity crystalline silicon raw materials with leading purity levels to N-type cells that repeatedly break world records for conversion efficiency, and then to high-efficiency modules suitable for diverse scenarios, each link demonstrated the technological prowess and innovative vitality of China's PV industry. Particularly eye-catching was the real-life presentation of the "fishery-PV integration" model— "power generation on the panels, fish farming under the panels"—achieving a synergistic coexistence of clean energy and modern agriculture. This innovative model not only significantly improved the composite land utilization rate but also provided a new model for rural revitalization through the integration of "PV + industry." Since the 14th Five-Year Plan period, China's PV application scenarios have accelerated their diversified expansion, with new business models such as agriculture-PV integration, animal husbandry-PV integration, PV desertification control, and offshore PV accelerating their implementation. Through technological innovation, the boundaries of green development have been continuously expanded.

In front of Tongwei's booth, an international student remarked with emotion, "Chinese PV products are very popular in our country. They are low-cost and high-quality, helping us solve many electricity supply problems. Today, seeing the manufacturing process behind them, I am even more impressed by the strength of Chinese companies." According to public information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, China has extensively cooperated with over 100 countries and regions on green energy projects, providing more than 80% of the world's PV modules and driving the average cost per kilowatt-hour of global PV power generation projects to decline by over 80% cumulatively, enabling countries, especially developing nations, to access, afford, and effectively utilize PV energy. Tongwei is an important participant in this process—its high-efficiency cells and PV module products have been exported to more than 70 countries and regions worldwide, providing "Chinese solutions" that cover different climatic conditions for overseas PV power plant construction.

Since the 14th Five-Year Plan period, China's PV industry has established the world's most competitive industrial chain system, with production and installed capacity ranking first globally for over a decade. From being a follower to becoming a leader, China's PV industry has written a glorious chapter of growth from weakness to strength and from domestic to global during the 14th Five-Year Plan period. Chinese PV companies, represented by Tongwei, have consistently adhered to innovation-driven development and industrial patriotism, solidifying the industrial foundation through breakthroughs in core technologies, leading industry development with full-chain advantages, and serving the national "dual carbon" goals with a green commitment.
Looking ahead, China's PV industry will continue to deepen technological innovation, expand application scenarios, and improve the industrial ecosystem. With more advanced technologies, higher-quality products, and more efficient solutions, it will contribute "Chinese momentum" to the global energy transition and continuously write new chapters in the era of green development.
