Leveraging the mature mass-produced N-type technology platform, Tongwei keeps advancing the upgrading of high-efficiency cell technologies and products, to further meet the market’s diverse demands for high efficiency, reliability and long-term value.

At the exhibition and presentation, Tongwei Solar highlighted the upgrading orientation of TNC 3.0 multi-cut cells. By integrating core technologies including TPE, multi-cutting and Poly Tech, Tongwei Solar advances the module slicing process to the cell end, effectively reducing power loss, improving overall performance and providing strong support for subsequent value tapping. Supported by the synergy of multiple technologies, the TNC 3.0 multi-cut cell delivers a module power gain of over 10W, a 5% increase in bifaciality and a conversion efficiency exceeding 26.3%, creating greater added value for high-efficiency modules.

From TNC 1.0 to TNC 3.0, Tongwei has continuously promoted the iterative upgrading of TNC-series high-efficiency cells, and comprehensively improved product competitiveness in power efficiency, scenario adaptability and application value. During the exhibition, the Tongwei Solar team conducted on-site exchanges focusing on local market demands and customer concerns, and held in-depth discussions with South Korean partner Hanwha Solutions Qcells Division on market trends, the value of multi-cut products and future cooperation plans.

In the communication, Sanghyuk Lee from the KR Module Process Team of Hanwha Qcells stated based on the actual situation of the South Korean market that TOPCon cells still dominate the local market, while attention to next-generation high-efficiency technologies is on the rise. Hanwha also expressed great interest in multi-cut products, recognizing their advantages in optimizing area efficiency, enabling better product design and boosting output power.

In addition, Youngah Joo from the HQ Procurement Team of Hanwha Qcells mentioned that Hanwha and Tongwei have maintained a long-term partnership, and the two sides will further deepen cooperation in high-efficiency product application and market expansion in the future.
