On January 10, the "Persist in Being Promising, Strive for Excellence" JIANCHI Entrepreneurs Club 2025 Annual Conference was grandly held in Chengdu. In September 2025, China further announced its aim to increase installed PV and wind power capacity to 36 billion kilowatts by 2035, six times the 2020 level, once again showcasing China's confidence, ambition, and determination in leading and driving the energy revolution. After over two decades of relentless effort, China's PV sector has achieved a remarkable transformation—from catching up, to keeping pace, to comprehensively surpassing PV powerhouses like Europe, the U.S., Japan, and South Korea. It has become an end-to-end, independently controllable industry with a globally leading industrial chain and manufacturing strength, firmly holding sector discourse power, representing China's new quality productive force development achievements, and serving as a world-class名片 (calling card) and a representative of the "New Trio."

President Zhuo indicated that according to calculations, over the next 20 years, the average annual investment intensity for China's new renewable energy installations, plus supporting energy storage and grid upgrade projects, will reach RMB 10-20 trillion, totaling RMB 200-400 trillion over two decades. Such increment will powerfully drive capacity utilization in industries like steel and cement, effectively stimulate the domestic market, promote investment, create jobs, and become a valuable asset that continuously plays a positive role in the future. Renewable energy is expected to become a new, powerful engine driving China's high-quality economic development and could help China achieve its carbon neutrality goal 5-10 years ahead of schedule.
