This autumn, when Tongwei's after-sales inspection team returned to Golmud, they were greeted not only by the plateau's fierce winds but also by golden sunlight flowing over the PV panels. Here, a 200 MW solar power station spanning 4,900 acres operates reliably—a key stop in Tongwei's "Quality Assurance for Power Stations" national inspection campaign.

A Journey of Protection Across Mountains and Rivers

To date, Tongwei's inspection team has traveled over 130,000 kilometers across 18 provinces—equivalent to circling the globe more than three times. Working with third-party testing agencies, this professional team has completed inspections at 120 PV power stations, covering more than 10 GW in total capacity.

The power station inspected this time is located in Haixi Mongol and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, west of Golmud. It spans 4,900 mu with a capacity of 200 MW, all fully grid-connected using Tongwei high-efficiency modules. On site, technicians used professional equipment to conduct a comprehensive "health check" on the modules. Data confirmed stable operation, excellent power output, and energy generation exceeding expectations—earning high praise from the plant owner.
