Tongwei's Journey of Chasing Light · Glodeni
In Romania
a new landmark of solar energy is erected
6OMW
Glodeni, Romania
There lies a village in Glodeni
with scattered cottages and endless red-tiled roofs
Beneath these eaves thrives the most authentic life and labor
slow and pure
tranquil yet steadfast
Not far from the village
Glodeni I and Glodeni II stand side by side
Miles of Tongwei solar panels shimmer like waves under sunlight, unfolding a new vision of clean energy
It injects vibrant green power into the region
and also testifies to Tongwei's green energy covenant with Eastern Europe
The strategic partner
DTEK Group
is Ukraine's leading integrated energy holding company
and the nation's largest private energy investor
With cumulative investments exceeding €12 billion
the company actively engaged in domestic and international energy markets
DRI
as DTEK's European strategic branch
has partnered with Tongwei to establish the Glodeni I flagship solar project, leveraging robust engineering capabilities and exceptional product performance
achieving a powerful combination
and co-creating a new chapter in green development
Adjacent to the Glodeni project site
an independent substation was constructed simultaneously
Functioning as an energy hub
it shoulders the critical mission of power conversion and transmission
ensuring stable and efficient injection of clean electricity into this land
A teenager abruptly brakes his bicycle
when the drone's hum captures his gaze
Through the lens
he sees his familiar homeland from above for the first time
It turns out that it is no longer an ordinary hillside
but a tapestry woven by sunlight
a forest of light
At that moment
he understands for the first time that
sunlight can truly be harvested and utilized
Tongwei high-efficiency modules
empower the Glodeni II project
with 60MW of clean electricity
Generating 86.4 million kWh annually
these modules consistently deliver stable, abundant green energy to the region
significantly alleviating peak demand pressure
They can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 21,800 tons per year
equivalent to the ecological contribution of 360,000 trees
Corneliu Neicu, DRI Project Manager, stated
"Through intensive land use and energy transition
we're advancing synergistic development of ecological conservation and power generation"
Where sunlight smiles
freshness and vitality quietly blossom
Under clear skies with low-hanging clouds
Tongwei modules sow the order of light
harmoniously blending and silently collaborating with nature
Change is flowing along the current
into the pulse of this land in Romania.
