On June 10, the 2025 PV & Energy Storage Summit hosted by BloombergNEF (BNEF) was held in Shanghai. As a global leader in PV technology, Tongwei was invited to this prestigious event. Mr. Qiu Xin, Vice President of Marketing at Tongwei Co., Ltd., represented the company in the "Navigating the Waves: Resilience and Opportunities for the PV Industry in the New International Trade Environment" leadership forum. He engaged in in-depth discussions with industry representatives on critical topics including industry cycles, supply chain adjustments, and global deployment strategies.

From the module sector perspective, Mr. Qiu analyzed current market supply-demand dynamics and pricing trends. He noted that while domestic "installation rush" has concluded, companies in various segments of the industry will face pressure to absorb production capacity to some extent. However, considering the demand trends both nationally and globally, the industry will continue to advance steadily. Industry colleagues should build consensus and work together to create a more orderly development environment for the industry.
Speech by Qiu Xin, Marketing Vice President of Tongwei Co., Ltd.
Regarding the pace of industry adjustments, Mr. Qiu stated that the cycle of clearing requires time and that the industry is currently nearing its bottom. Relevant policies and the guidance of advanced production capacity are of significant positive importance for the healthy development of the industry.
Despite the apparent short-term pressure on the photovoltaic industry, Tongwei maintains unwavering confidence in its long-term development. Confronting cyclical adjustments and global market uncertainties, Tongwei actively responds through technological innovation, capacity optimization, and organizational resilience building. Mr. Qiu emphasized that technological differentiation, global strategic deployment, and deepened customer relationships constitute key factors for enterprises to weather industry cycles.
Against this backdrop, Tongwei launched its next-generation TNC 2.0 module series in 2025. The G12R variant achieves front-side power output up to 682.8W with 25.28% conversion efficiency, while the G12 version reaches 778.5W and 25.06% efficiency—both representing approximately 60W improvements over mainstream products, significantly enhancing product competitiveness. Concurrently, the company promotes industry self-regulation and advocates rational market competition to cultivate favorable industrial ecosystems.
In global expansion, Tongwei adheres to the principles of "market-driven, value-optimized, risk-controlled," continuously expanding into key overseas markets. The company also monitors global energy transition trends, and is committed to delivering efficient, sustainable clean energy solutions for customers in different regions.
