On May 27, the "2025 Tongwei Module Partner Ecosystem Construction Conference and New Product Promotion Conference" was grandly held in Chongqing, the mountain city. As an important strategic measure for Tongwei to deeply cultivate the PV market in Southwest China, this event grandly launched a new generation of high-efficiency modules—TNC 2.0 to regional partners. This series of modules fully inherits the advantages of TOPCon. With the support of four technologies (908 technology, steel screen printing technology, TPE technology, Poly Tech technology), the product power can be increased by 20W+.

As the core engine of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle, Chongqing is rapidly promoting the upgrade of its PV and energy storage industries. In 2024, its new installed capacity of distributed PV reached 1.225 million kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 113%, with commercial and industrial distributed installations accounting for over 99%, highlighting market vitality. Relying on the "Million Kilowatt Rooftop PV" plan, Chongqing has successfully achieved dual-wheel drive of "policy innovation + market demand", promoting the photovoltaic industry to a new level of development.

The newly developed TNC 2.0 modules by Tongwei are highly consistent with the goal of the PV industry upgrade in Chongqing.


Driven by Tongwei's leading technology, the TNC 2.0 modules use silicone adhesive to replace the battery pad connection, reducing the shading area and internal stress, decreasing the risk of battery micro-cracks by 30%, and improving module reliability. In terms of technology development, the module's bifaciality has achieved a breakthrough of 88%+ (certified by TÜV Rheinland and CGC). Compared to mainstream industry products, the TNC 2.0 modules, in the standard size of 2382*1134mm, can generate approximately 58.229 million kWh more electricity over 30 years, with a BOS cost reduction of about 3.97 cents/W and an LCOE reduction of about 1.93%. In terms of product value, its core concept of "high efficiency, reliability, and sustainability" precisely matches the needs of commercial and industrial distributed scenarios, providing solutions for rooftop photovoltaic development in Chongqing and helping the region's energy transition achieve "quality and efficiency".


The TNC 2.0 modules shining in Chongqing are not only a concentrated display of Tongwei's full-industry chain collaborative advantages but also an innovative practice of high-quality development of distributed PV.
